Rose Nowaskey, Minis
Rose’s swimming began back as a child taking lessons at Lake Menomin beach. After completing lifesaving classes, she taught swimming lessons back in the same place. Eventually she took Senior Lifesaving and Water Safety instructor courses at UW Stout, which led her to more work with our recreation department and pool-fieldhouse. Helping out with the swim teams when her children were younger was something she enjoyed. Fortunately Rose decided to get her feet wet again by working with the MAAC Minis…”If I can get them to feel confident and enjoy swimming at this level; it hopefully means they will stay with the MAAC program.” Rose can be reached at 715-505-3574 or nowaskey@wwt.net.
