This is a great opportunity for MAAC swimmers to see college-level competition. If you are able to carpool, please sign up using the link below. When you sign up, please indicate the number of swimmers you will be able to take in your vehicle, in addition to your own (use the “plus sign” on the right side of the sign-up form to add passengers). If your swimmers would like to go, but you cannot drive, then sign them up as carpool passengers and we’ll match them up with a driver.

Policy for Swimmers Leaving Practice Early

Some concerns have been brought to the board’s attention about swimmers who leave practice early. The Pool/Fieldhouse staff are concerned that swimmers are waiting in the entry area unattended, and the coaches would like to know when swimmers are going to be leaving practice early.

In order to ensure supervision of swimmers, please note the following if your swimmer needs to leave practice early:

  1. Advise the coach at drop-off that your swimmer will need to leave practice early, and at what time.
  2. Instruct your swimmer to wait for pickup on the bleachers in the pool area.
  3. Come into the pool area to pick up your swimmer.

Thank you for your cooperation. These simple rules will ensure that swimmers are safe and supervised.

New Lost & Found Policy at the Pool

The new manager of the Pool/Fieldhouse has established a new lost & found policy. Lost items will be placed in a container in each locker room, and the contents of these containers will be taken to Goodwill every Monday. Please have your swimmers get in the habit of checking these containers for lost items, and be sure to check for goggles and other equipment regularly.

If you find any items that you believe belong to a MAAC swimmer, please let a board member know and we will set them aside on the MAAC shelf in the storage room.
